Content Marketing Manager



The Content Marketing Manager leads the charge for our content creation.  You’ll author short blog posts, bylines, case studies, ebooks, email and ad copy, and whitepapers to support digital campaigns and field marketing.  You’ll own and publish the editorial calendar and use that to drive our content strategy. You’ll coordinate with other internal and external resources to fulfill the content calendar and ensure on-time delivery of assets.  You’ll get the chance to define our standard tone and voice. Working with our digital marketing manager, you’ll take charge of the social media channel to support other marketing campaigns with regular, timely, content-rich posts that drive traffic to our website.  You’ll help us experiment with different form factors such as videos or podcasts. You’ll partner with the sales, marketing, and leadership teams to understand business requirements and decide how to meet those goals. Only light travel is expected, up to 10%, to occasionally represent Luminoso at events.

  • are a solid writer and editor who can translate technical concepts into business terms.  

  • thrive in a fast-moving, start-up environment and have at least 3 years’ experience related to creating content.

  • love finding just the right way to educate a target audience with meaningful, engaging information, rather than hyperbolic marketing fluff.

  • have managed external graphic designers, writers and other content-related vendors to deliver quality assets on time

  • understand how to use social media channels to amplify our reach and drive digital traffic

  • can iterate with reviewers and data to continuously improve what you produce

  • can think from the buyers’ perspective to answer, “So what?”  

  • are technical enough to enjoy learning about how our software works.  

  • find joy in building a library of content that you can be proud of.

  • live in the Boston area.

  • willing to travel on rare occasions (0-10%)
