BOSTON, December 7, 2020 — Luminoso, the company that turns unstructured text data into business critical insights, today announced that it has been recognized by BostInno as one of the 50 “on fire” companies for 2020, and also as the top company in BostInno’s Inno on Fire software category.
Every year for the last decade, BostInno has held an event recognizing 50 of Boston’s most inspiring and fastest-growing startups and individuals. This year’s Inno on Fire honored those who played a part in advancing Boston’s ever-growing innovation ecosystem in times that are nothing short of extraordinary. Of the 50 winners, one “Inno Blazer” is chosen from each of the ten industry categories by an elite panel of judges.
“In a city where there are so many fast-growing and innovative enterprise software companies, this recognition is a reflection of the value Luminoso delivers to its clients, and the work our team has done during a year where we all faced unprecedented challenges,” said Adam Carte, CEO of Luminoso. “Receiving this award is a fitting way to celebrate Luminoso’s ten-year anniversary, and our team is looking forward to a 2021 where we will continue to push the boundaries of what is possible with text analytics.”
Founded out of the MIT Media Lab in 2010, Luminoso builds AI-powered text analytics solutions that offer the fastest way for organizations to rigorously analyze unstructured text, natively in 15 languages. Luminoso’s applications don’t require data training, code, or ontologies to fully analyze unstructured text and quantify feedback. Users simply upload text data in a CSV, and immediately uncover rich insights across any domain, industry, or use case.
In addition to receiving the top Software prize in this year’s Inno on Fire event, Luminoso was recognized on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies, and on the KMWorld AI 50 list for “companies empowering intelligent knowledge management.”
